Facilities Rig Magic from Big Nige
Workshop

Our custom facility allows us to work inside on masts of up to 65’. Longer spars are worked on outside or within Suffolk Yacht Harbour’s workshops. Our rope department is separate from our engingeering activities which ensures ropes and running rigging remain spotlessly clean. We have roll swaging capabilities up to and including 16mm. Talurit presses up to 8mm, together with a wide range of specialist tools and engineering machinery.

Nearly all of our specialised machinery is portable and we have a generator to power the 240v hydraulic pumps and tools for those inaccessible locations. Our mast trailer will collect loads up to 70’ long. We often collect spars for repairs believing that the cost of collection is more than offset by the efficiency of being able to work on the problem in our workshop.
